The position requires experience in preparing financial statements, performs monthly account analyses and bank reconciliations, and assists with budget preparation and financial presentation material. In addition, this position assists in preparing schedules and files for annual independent audits and cost reports, as necessary. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 0 – 1 year of experience in preparing financial statements. Demonstrated working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential to efficiently completing work assignments. Exceptional verbal and written communications skills to maintain ongoing interaction with operational team members on a regular basis. Preferred Requirements: Certified Public Accountant license Minimum two years of general accounting experience Knowledge of PeopleSoft General Ledger and Accounts Payable systems a plus Knowledge of, and experience with, operating and capital budget development and forecasting The individual in this position will be required to perform their job in a manner that is consistent with the mission and values of the Redeemer Health, to ensure the values of respect, compassion, justice, hospitality, holistic approach, stewardship, and collaboration are present in our interactions with one another and in the services that we provide.
