TAKRAF Australia is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting the organisation’s financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely financial processing, maintaining robust financial records, and assisting with reporting, compliance, budgeting and forecasting activities.
Working closely with the CFO and broader finance team, you will contribute to the financial integrity, operational efficiency, and ongoing compliance of the business.
About the Role
The Financial Accountant will support the delivery of high-quality accounting and financial management services across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end reporting, supporting payroll and taxation obligations, and contributing to process improvements and internal controls.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications in Commerce, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- CPA or CA qualification (or currently working towards completion).
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical capability.
- Minimum 3 years’ commercial accounting experience, ideally post qualification.
- Sound understanding of IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
- Knowledge of Australian taxation requirements.
- Exposure to foreign exchange transactions.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Power BI will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
