Regional Health, Safety and Mental Wellbeing Leader The purpose of this role is to oversee the implementation of an effective health, safety and mental wellbeing management system to ensure compliance across local H&S regulations. This is a great opportunity to establish, develop and lead a management system with a continual improvement strategy. The role offers flexibility of a hybrid workstyle with travel to workplaces as required to fulfil activities. Implement programs and initiatives to maintain a health, safety and mental wellbeing service, in compliance with local requirements. Overseeing and collaborating with other members of the Health, Safety and Mental Wellbeing team to ensure effective delivery of health, safety and mental wellbeing services. Monitor risk registers, ensuring risk assessments are carried out, reviewing when required and ensuring appropriate actions are identified and closed. Ensure Health, Safety and Wellbeing Committees are established where required, attending when appropriate. Collaborate with colleagues in other functions such as Facilities Management, IT, Security and other contractors to deliver a safe working environment. Provide guidance, advice and awareness sessions to people managers, contractors and colleagues on health, safety and wellbeing related issues. Design and deliver effective communications to engage colleagues in health, safety and wellbeing. Develop and deliver training and awareness programmes for colleagues with specific health, and safety and wellbeing roles. Audit contractor performance as required, review RAMS and authorise work as appropriate. Audit against ISO 45001, assigning actions when appropriate and ensuring actions are closed. Ensure accident reports are completed and carry out accident investigations/lessons learned, determining root cause and recommending actions to prevent reoccurrence. Maintain required records for inspection by any enforcing authority. Analyse data to review performance of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System, reporting on performance and identifying risks and opportunities. Take part in external training courses and events as well as on the job coaching to progress health, safety and wellbeing knowledge and skills. How this opportunity is different? Skills and experience that will lead to success Professional degree related to health and safety is mandatory License to operate enterprise health and safety programs 5+ years of experience leading, implementing and auditing SST programs Knowledge in regional SST regulations (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico) is a plus Strong communication skills in english is required Collaborative team leader- lead and support team members, coaching to overcome challenges and to progress professional development within the team.
