About our Industrial Metrology Division:

ZEISS Industrial Metrology is a leading developer and supplier of CNC coordinate measuring machines and complete solutions for multidimensional metrology. We are a recognized partner of the automotive sector and its suppliers, and we also develop measurement solutions for other segments. Our product range includes bridge, horizontal arm (column) and in-line measuring machines, as well as shape, contour and surface measuring machines, state-of-the-art industrial CT scanners that perform virtually any type of measurement with maximum accuracy, high quality and at high speed.

About our Service Engineer/Technician vacancy:

Work Region – Florianópolis and region (80%) and travel across Brazil (20%)

Activities:

  • Perform installation, calibration and preventive and corrective maintenance activities of three-dimensional equipment (portal and column type), tomographs and on-site optics.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the equipment installed in the customers to avoid operational downtime, through the proper interpretation of data and use of knowledge/technical instructions, acting according to the metric guidelines of quality, productivity, service, costs and safety, health and environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed in order to meet individual performance targets and ensure that equipment performance can be monitored.
  • Develop knowledge of the company's products and services through working together with other members of the Services team (engineers and technicians from the beginning)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction according to service, deadline, performance and quality metrics.

Requirements

  • Technical training - Electronics, Mechatronics, Precision Mechanics and related areas.
  • CNH up to date and availability for national and international travel.
  • Good level of English is essential.
