Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Planner to join our team.
What You Will Do:
- Align Demand & Supply: Translate customer forecasts into concrete logistics requirements, planning inbound raw material arrivals and outbound delivery schedules.
- Production Planning: Secure raw material availability to prevent production line-down situations and plan replenishment schedules that support optimized production utilization.
- Inventory Strategy & Management: Define and manage key inventory parameters, including safety stock levels, reorder points, and overall replenishment strategies.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and maintain logistics and production KPI reports, leading and supporting regular performance review meetings to drive continuous improvement.
- Risk & Contingency Planning: Proactively identify potential supply chain risks (e.g., material delays, transport disruptions) and develop mitigation plans to handle emergencies effectively.
- Customs & Compliance: Handle all customs inbound & outbound monthly reporting and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize tools like SAP, BY, and Power BI to monitor performance and provide management-ready reports on key metrics such as inventory levels and delivery performance.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, or production planning role.
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP is essential.
- Proficiency with planning tools (e.g., BY) and reporting software (e.g., Power BI) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
