The role supports integrated campaigns across digital, social, CRM, print, and presentation channels.
What You’ll Do
- Develop conceptual art direction and visual systems that translate healthcare/pharma strategy into clear creative ideas.
- Create campaign concepts, layouts, storyboards, social assets, digital experiences, and presentation materials for client review.
- Partner with Copy, Strategy, Medical, and Client Services teams to ensure creative work is accurate, compelling, and aligned to client goals.
- Present and defend creative concepts to internal teams and clients using clear rationale tied to audience, brand, and business objectives.
- Guide visual craft across multiple projects while incorporating feedback from creative, medical, regulatory, and client stakeholders.
- Several years of art direction experience in an advertising, marketing, or healthcare communications environment, with portfolio examples from concept through execution.
- Demonstrated experience developing conceptual creative ideas for healthcare, pharma, life sciences, or other regulated/complex clients.
- Portfolio showing strong visual design, typography, layout, campaign thinking, and multi-channel execution across digital and traditional formats.
- Experience presenting creative work to internal teams and clients, including rationale for concept, design choices, and audience relevance.
- Working knowledge of agency workflows, creative reviews, client feedback, and medical/regulatory approval processes.
- Ability to manage multiple creative deliverables at once while meeting timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior creatives through feedback, concept development, or design reviews.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keynote, and presentation design tools in a client-facing creative environment.
- Experience developing work across HCP, patient, payer, or disease awareness audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Design, Art Direction, Visual Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
