Job description
We are expanding our presence in the British Columbia region and are looking for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional to help grow the brand and build lasting partnerships across the region.
In this role, you will be responsible for growing market share, strengthening relationships, and driving revenue across your territory. You’ll work closely with builders, architects, and dealer partners while identifying new opportunities to expand distribution.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales revenue and margin targets in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain a high level of knowledge on products, installation and construction standards, customer needs and services, as well as an understanding of local competitive products.
- Identify and initiate contact with relevant individuals within assigned accounts, prospects, and industry associations to identify and develop programs, projects and opportunities that have potential to generate revenues.
- Prepare and present sales presentations, physical displays, and demonstrations for the application of MAC Metal Architectural products.
- Participate in internal and external events, such as trade shows or industry association meetings that promote MAC Metal Architectural in the BC market.
We’re looking for someone who can successfully balance relationship management with proactive business development — a true territory builder who can both maintain strong existing partnerships and drive new business growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of sales experience within the building materials or construction industry
- Experience working with architectural or exterior building products is considered a strong asset
- Proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business opportunities
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to independently manage a territory and consistently drive results
- Self-motivated with a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including dealers, contractors, and architects
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout British Columbia and the Northwestern USA
- Reliable vehicle available for business travel
Compensation: $70,000 - 90,000 (base) plus commission and benefits.
