Job Profile Summary:

This position has primary responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day Accounts Receivable functions within the Credit Department.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Authorize credit hold overrides of customer shipments and communicate order status.
  • Prepare and submit delinquent accounts to the state; review state list and update customer accounts.
  • Approve credit on customer accounts by managing applications, limits, and payment terms.
  • Manage the payment application and maintenance process.
  • Research and reconcile bank statements to correct deposit errors.
  • Facilitate customer adjustments and write-offs.
  • Ensure returned checks are charged back to customer accounts; perform trend analysis and communicate results.

Required Qualifications:

  • Skills & Abilities
    • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Credit functions
    • Excellent planning skills with the ability to manage and organize teamwork flow.
    • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Years of Experience
    • AS400 experience preferred.
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field

The expected pay range for this role is $50,000-$65,000K. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data.
