Job description

About Gruve

Gruve is an innovative software services startup dedicated to transforming enterprises to AI powerhouses. We specialize in cybersecurity, customer experience, cloud infrastructure, and advanced technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs). Our mission is to assist our customers in their business strategies utilizing their data to make more intelligent decisions. As a well-funded early-stage startup, Gruve offers a dynamic environment with strong customer and partner networks.

About the Role

Gruve is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead the product strategy, definition, and roadmap for our integrated hardware, software, and managed services offerings. This is a senior individual contributor and leadership role reporting to the CTO, with high visibility across the organization and with key technology partners.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned product leader who thrives at the intersection of infrastructure, AI platforms, and enterprise software. You will be the voice of the customer internally, translate complex technical capabilities into compelling product experiences and go-to-market narratives, and drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, sales, and partner ecosystems. You understand the challenges CIOs face when deploying AI workloads — from governance and compliance to cost management and multi-tenancy — and you build products that solve them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Gruve’s managed AI platforms, spanning AI Compute (GPU infrastructure), AI Control Plane (software platform), and Managed Operations Service.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements based on deep customer discovery, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and input from sales, engineering, and technology partners (NVIDIA, Cisco).
  • Translate enterprise customer pain points — including governance, compliance, cost and utilization, multi-tenancy management, ROI, and data sovereignty — into differentiated product capabilities.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation through discovery, specification, development, launch, and iteration for hardware-software-services integrated offerings.
  • Develop and maintain detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria in close collaboration with engineering and design teams.
  • Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering to define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), buyer personas, and use-case segmentation across departmental, enterprise inference, and enterprise training and multi-tenant deployment tiers.
  • Serve as an internal and external evangelist— presenting at customer briefings, partner events, and industry forums to articulate the product vision and value proposition.
  • Define and track key product KPIs including time-to-production, customer retention, platform utilization, NPS, and revenue impact; use data to inform prioritization decisions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery of product releases while maintaining high quality and alignment with customer commitments.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing product management function; establish repeatable PM processes, frameworks, and tools that scale with the business.
  • Engage deeply with NVIDIA AI Enterprise capabilities (NIM microservices, NeMo Guardrails, GPU Operator, Base Command Manager) to identify integration and differentiation opportunities.
  • Support business development and partnership activities by contributing product expertise to RFPs, partner technical discussions, and customer proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Synthesize market and technology trends in enterprise AI infrastructure — including agentic workflows, fine-tuning, RAG architectures, and multi-modal inference — to inform long-term product bets.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of progressive product management experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or lead PM role at an enterprise technology company.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and shipping complex B2B products that combine hardware, software, and/or services components.
  • Strong understanding of AI infrastructure including GPU compute, model inference, fine-tuning workflows, and enterprise AI platform architectures.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, build and manage a product roadmap, and communicate it clearly to executives, engineers, and customers.
  • Experience working in or with enterprise IT, cloud infrastructure, or managed services organizations where data privacy, security, and governance are first-order requirements.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of influencing without authority across engineering, sales, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; ability to define metrics, interpret usage data, and turn insights into product action.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building or scaling products in the AI infrastructure or GPU-accelerated computing space.
  • Hands-on familiarity with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NVIDIA NIM, NeMo, or related NVIDIA software platform components.
  • Background with Ethernet networking, security, and data center solutions in an enterprise context.
  • Prior experience at a startup or high-growth company delivering integrated infrastructure platforms (hardware + software + services).
  • Exposure to enterprise procurement, channel partner models, and OpEx/CapEx infrastructure buying motions.
  • Experience with agentic AI frameworks, RAG pipelines, multi-tenant inference isolation, or AI governance tooling.
  • MBA or advanced technical degree.
  • Active engagement with the enterprise AI community through thought leadership, speaking, writing, or open-source contribution.

Salary Range

$250,000 - $300,000 USD + Bonus + Benefits
