Employment Type: Permanent Part Time - 32 hours a week

Location: St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital - Spring Hill, Brisbane

Remuneration: $55.63 - $59.61 p/hr + Super + NFP SalaryPackaging (save tax and increase your take home pay) 

Your part in St Andrew’s War Memorial

We currently have part-time fixed term opportunities for Clinical Nurses experienced in Orthopaedic, Urology, Vascular nursing to join our Surgical Unit.

Providing wide range of Surgical Services, performed in our state-of-the-art operating theatre complex, including: Endoscopic Services, General Surgery, Opthalmology, Orthopaedic, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Urology and Urodynamics, including Robotically Assisted Prostate Cancer Surgery, Vascular.

You will be responsible for the delivery of safe, holistic nursing care to patients. You will apply clinical leadership skills to achieve objectives as well as assess and respond to clinical nursing issues and concerns.  

What makes a difference for us?

The successful applicant will ideally present with: 

  • 3 years’ experience in an Acute Surgical ward with Team Leader or Clinical Nurse experience      

  • Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration

  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to your team

  • Ability to work flexibly across a 24/7 roster

  • Orthopaedic, Urology, Vascular experience preferable
