Mid-Level Electrical Engineering Technical Designer

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Electrical Engineering Technical Designer to join the Lab Operations team in Oklahoma City, OK. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying company, industry and governmental standards

  • Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities

  • Builds and maintains product from installation to maintenance phase

  • Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and working groups

  • Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using power measurement test and measurement instrumentation (such as power supplies, power meters, and analyzers)

  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings

  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting utilizing volt‑ohm meters and electrical system drawings

  • Experience fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and associated equipment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active U.S. Security Clearance

  • Experience with REDARS and/or Gold ESP

  • Experience with MS Office Suite, such as Word, Excel and MS Project

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This role is primarily supporting 1st shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: USD $63,750 – $86,250
