About the role
As a Junior Customer Marketing Specialist, you will be working in the Customer Marketing team to support Haleon’s sales growth through the sound execution of brand and category strategy into effective shopper and customer activation tools that will drive sell out. You will focus on creating and adapting shopper sell out tools, developing meaningful education for in-store experts, and building best-in-class visibility and communication plans across channels and customers for our brands and categories. You will work closely with the sales team on field as well as other functional stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities
Executional Excellence. Delivering world class execution of shopper and customer marketing initiatives for our brands and categories across channels and customers, translating compelling brand and category strategies into sell-out tools.
Implement customer initiatives and relevant education and training programs for in-store experts and ensure clear execution standards.
Create in-store visibility and category communication plans via development of compelling POS materials and activation assets.
Contribute in cross-category support projects to ensure coherence across the portfolio and address all elements of successful sales support.
Have strong pulse of the field and recommend improvements and new initiatives.
Oversee shopper marketing execution across channels and customers and support in elevating, where gaps are identified, ensuring compliance with defined KPI’s.
Measure and evaluate key initiatives to drive execution improvement and maximize RoI.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience in a consumer marketing / shopper marketing position, including managing shopper / trade marketing campaigns
Strong analytical skills
Solutions oriented, able to break down barriers, deal with ambiguity
Proficiency in English – excellent communication skills including verbal and writing
A field sales experience will be an advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors/masters degree in business, economics or equivalent qualification and relevant experience
Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills; able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
