Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Labor Compliance Clerk to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that our organization adheres to all internal policies. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to generate resolutions to labor variances. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the integrity of our operational practices while supporting organizational growth and compliance excellence.
Position Summary:
The Labor Compliance Clerk should have a strong understanding of budgeting, be detail-oriented, possess strong research and analytical skills, and be mathematically proficient. This role requires the ability to monitor labor hours, control costs, analyze payroll and staffing data, and ensure labor expenses remain within budget guidelines. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to communicate effectively with management and employees are also essential. This position works closely with account managers, project managers, and general managers to monitor labor hours, review time-keeping reports, and maintain labor compliance in the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, review, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly variance reports.
- Coordinate with internal staff regarding labor compliance issues
- Conduct job site interviews and investigations as needed
- Prepare reports, findings, and documentation related to labor compliance
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain Rosters
- Process badge request
- Manage the PHX branch fleet
- Process vendor invoices, and check requests
- Process employee expense and mileage requests
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years experience working with labor compliance (or something similar)
- Ability to accuretly interpret timekeeping reports quickly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with compliance tracking systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Labor compliance certification or related coursework
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
