As an Inspector, you’ll be part of an integrated team delivering high-performance solutions, inspecting engines for a variety of our customers' aeroplanes. What You’ll Be Doing

With this attractive opportunity, you will get a chance to:

  • Conduct detailed inspections of aerospace engine components and modules.
  • Use precision measurement tools and techniques to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
  • Work closely with production, development, and overhaul teams to maintain quality and safety.
  • Identify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Who We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Essential you have completed a time-served apprenticeship, ideally with relevant aerospace inspection skills.
  • Be qualified to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent.
  • Have experience in aerospace strip and build procedures.
  • Be proficient in using measurement tools and techniques.
  • Have experience with conditioning/sentencing aerospace parts and assemblies.
  • Be computer literate with the ability to work with digital inspection tools.

Additional desirable skills include:

  • Experience with engine intrascoping and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspection.
  • Knowledge of repair limits and aerospace component sentencing.
  • Training in risk assessment and COSHH.
  • The ability to train others and support team development.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance.  Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.  Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
