Job description

To promote Sika's water treatment and flat slab product range and concrete accessories to specifiers, owners, and applicators in the concrete construction market segment.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business growth by developing opportunities with new customers and expanding sales within existing accounts.
  • Build relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, distributors, and decision-makers to secure product specifications and increase product adoption.
  • Deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and job-site support to ensure proper product application and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical expertise by responding to product inquiries, verifying construction details, and supporting customers throughout project execution.
  • Maintain accurate project, customer, and sales activity records in Salesforce while keeping management informed on project updates and market activity.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities, monitor competitor activity, and support marketing efforts through industry events and technical review of materials.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of sales or technical experience in building or concrete construction products.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to quickly learn broad in-depth knowledge in a short period of time.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to read construction documents.
  • Good communication skills in telephone, in-person, and written technical correspondence. Attentive and responsive to our market and customer needs. Ability to make professional presentations in front of large groups. Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of management.
  • Excellent organization skills required to manage numerous issues and responsibilities at once.
  • Must be willing to travel (occasionally on short notice) within defined territory.
