SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to support the Legal and Compliance Department of the country’s leading cosmetic surgery provider. The Compliance Coordinator supports Sono Bello’s compliance program by assisting with licensing, credentialing, and accreditation activities across its network of surgical centers. This role ensures providers and facilities remain in good standing with state, federal, and accrediting bodies. The coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining accurate records, tracking regulatory requirements, and supporting audit readiness in a fast-paced, multi-state healthcare environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and track all licensing requirements, including applications, renewals, and status updates across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support provider/staff credentialing processes, including initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and verification of qualifications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in credentialing and compliance databases
  • Assist with accreditation preparation and ongoing compliance with accrediting organizations
  • Monitor deadlines and proactively communicate upcoming expirations or required actions
  • Collect, verify, and organize documentation such as licenses, certifications, insurance, and continuing education records
  • Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Legal, Operations) to ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering documentation and responding to requests
  • Stay informed of regulatory changes and assist in updating internal policies and procedures
  • Generate reports and maintain dashboards related to compliance status and metrics

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance, credentialing, licensing, or a related administrative role
  • Familiarity with regulatory and accrediting bodies in healthcare or relevant industry preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-state healthcare operations preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or credentialing software systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SharePoint
  • Experience with credentialing platforms
  • Knowledge of state and federal licensing requirements
  • Process improvement mindset with ability to identify efficiencies

COMPENSATION:

This is a non-exempt position with an hourly range of $29.25 - $36.50 hour, depending on experience.

Compensation Range
$29.25-$36.50 USD

Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. Sono Bello may adjust this range in the future. Full-time employees may also receive benefits such as incentives, equity, health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
