Job description

We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

Join the Operations Program Management as an Operations Automation Analyst to accelerate our global supply chain efficiency through automation and data-driven systems analysis. This early-career technical role offers long-term strategic impact, beginning with mastering core operational workflows, tracking 2nd source qualification from end to end and learning New Product Introduction processes. You will leverage your engineering background to replace manual operations with advanced data pipelines, centralized tools, and machine learning efficiencies. Collaborating closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, your work will directly eliminate operational churn and ensure optimized enterprise performance worldwide.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support 2nd source qualification: Assist with cross-functional tracking and operational readiness for alternate source qualification, collaborating with Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve identified dependencies and help ensure global milestones are met on schedule.
  • Process improvement and optimization: Evaluate complex supply chain workflows to identify inefficiencies and data fragmentation, establishing clear performance metrics and dashboards to enhance visibility across Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
  • Design Automation & AI Tools: Replace manual email and slide trackers by building a centralized internal 2nd Source Qualification Management Tool and an Operations AI Search Assistant, utilizing automation and NLP to auto-generate statuses and surface historical data.
  • Engineer Optimization Systems: Develop an analytics-driven intake prioritization engine and change bundling tools to identify overlapping qualification windows, maximizing shared validation opportunities to directly reduce manufacturing churn.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Technical Engineering Foundation: Strong foundational knowledge of computer or electrical engineering principles combined with exposure to modern programming languages and databases (such as Python, SQL, or C/C++) to build automated data scripts and internal tools.
  • Data & Automation Aptitude: Analytical mindset with exposure to modern data visualization/diagramming tools and a passionate interest in advanced technical domains like machine learning optimizations, automated data pipelines, or custom search/NLP applications.
  • Execution & Collaboration Skills: Exceptional organizational ability to manage multiple deliverables in a high-speed environment, navigate ambiguity, and maintain a proactive sense of ownership alongside cross-functional partners.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
