Job description
Our client is hiring 2 Applied AI Engineers to help build production grade AI systems powering operational intelligence, workflow automation, and enterprise customer experiences. You will work directly on AI native product infrastructure, including LLM workflows, AI agents, retrieval systems, orchestration pipelines, and scalable AI powered product capabilities.
This is a highly visible engineering role with direct impact on the company’s product direction and long term AI strategy.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production grade AI workflows, agents, and LLM powered systems that directly support enterprise customer operations, scalability, and real world business outcomes.
- Design scalable retrieval, orchestration, and AI infrastructure pipelines.
- Build AI native product capabilities used by enterprise customers.
- Support prompt engineering, evaluation systems, and AI reliability workflows.
- Improve scalability, observability, and performance of AI systems in production.
- Help architect an AI first infrastructure.
- Contribute to long term AI product and platform strategy.
- 4-7+ years of experience building and shipping production grade backend AI or software infrastructure systems used in real world customer environments.
- Production experience building AI workflows, AI agents, or LLM powered systems.
- Strong Python experience.
- Experience with vector databases, RAG systems, or AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Extremely organized and self sufficient with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with changing requirements.
- Excited to work in a startup environment with a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid high growth environment.
- Proven experience working on entire features, from concept through to production deployment ensuring the feature is built and deployed in a timely fashion.
