Position Summary
This role will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality, compliant external financial reporting for a $15B global manufacturing company. This position provides technical accounting expertise, supports quarterly and annual external reporting, and performs accounting research and financial analysis to support complex transactions.
*** This is a HYBRID role, in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at our HQ in downtown Nashville. ***
Responsibilities
Research, interpret, model, and apply IFRS standards for complex transactions while preparing audit‑ready technical accounting memos and supporting strategic initiatives.
Support the preparation and review of quarterly and annual external financial reporting and disclosures under IFRS, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform analytical reviews of financial results and prepare/review complex journal entries and technical accounting analyses.
Serve as a liaison to external auditors and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to address technical accounting matters, support audits, and evaluate the accounting impact of business activities and transactions.
Maintain and update accounting policies while monitoring new standards to assess impact and support implementation of changes.
Identify process improvement opportunities in reporting and technical accounting while reviewing team deliverables for accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA License (or equivalent)
1–3+ years of experience as a Senior Auditor in public accounting (Big 4 or large multinational firm preferred)
Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and public‑company financial reporting requirements
Advanced analytical, research, and Excel skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Experience supporting multinational or manufacturing environments, with strong cross‑functional collaboration and ability to influence without direct authority
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with experience in ERP and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, OneStream, HFM) and familiarity with AI‑enabled audit tools
