Admitting Clerk

8-hr shifts | Per-Diem | NOC Shift Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Admitting Clerk - We have a Per-Diem opening for an Admitting Clerk. This is our overnight position with work hours from 11:00pm - 7:30am. What You’ll Do: The Admitting Clerk is responsible for: Admitting patients by gathering and recording physician, patient, and payment responsibility information Verify patient insurance and personal identification documents Ensure registration forms are properly signed Providing hospital and hospital services information, and other duties as assigned Education & Experience: High school, GED, or equivalent required Must have at least 6 months experience in healthcare admitting and insurance verification Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills Ability to concentrate on task in high traffic areas Therapeutic Options™ training to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptor Join us in making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve!
