Purpose: Support, develop and implement the reinsurance strategy and respective business plan and policies for IAG group (P&C, Assistance and Life) in order to protect the company against underwriting losses, thus enhancing its solvency. Always in compliance with company’s policies and statutory regulations. Responsibilities: He/she cooperates with the actuarial department in order to monitor solvency and pricing of treaties and with the underwriting department in order to decide the reinsurance needs. He/she supports calculations of earthquake accumulation, DDN and LOGBOOK. Placement of appropriate reinsurance facultative structure. Public relationship and business communication with Reinsurers & Reinsurance brokers. He/she develops the reinsurance business plan collating all the necessary statistical, underwriting and claim information and monitors its effective implementation. He/she controls if the risk portfolio is in accordance with the company's risk appetite and corrective measures are taken in case of deviation. He/she supports underwriting and claims teams (all Lob) relevant to all activities related to terms and conditions of reinsurance agreements. Servicing Special acceptances requests. He/she provides claims data to Reinsurers and Reinsurance Brokers. He/she keeps up to date with developments and expertise on their field, improves delivery accordingly and ensures development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information. Continuous training on new products /processes. Requirements: BSc in Economics/ Accounting & Finance. 6-9 years of professional experience in Reinsurance business. Advanced knowledge of insurance and reinsurance processes. Excellent knowledge of English language. Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
