Planner

Manage inventory and deliver financial analysis in support of buying strategies to maximize profitability and drive profitable sales growth

• Provide robust analysis, financial modelling and forecasting to support the buying strategy and delivery to sales, margin and inventory targets
• Manage the full category planning cycle including open to buy, inventory management, and replenishment cycles
• Provide analysis and forecasting to support the development of plans and promotions which deliver return on investment
• Undertake in-depth analysis and develop action plans to effectively manage inventory, including SKU performance, range and assortment planning, in-stock position, and aged and slow-moving stock
• Contribute to the development of strategies which maximise profitability through price optimisation, clearance planning, supplier investment strategies, and deal evaluation
• Provide strong leadership and clear direction to the category support team, ensuring high levels of focus on results and collaboration
• Deliver timely and accurate reporting on performance to budget, forecasts and assortment plans to meet merchandise category needs
