We currently have a vacancy for a .NET Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in The Hague, Netherlands. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site. Your tasks Implement web services in .NET, following a defined contract/interface specification, to extract information from internet sites and download internet content in a reliable, fast, scalable, and secure way, satisfying the defined service level agreements; Work with of front-end development frameworks, while knowledge of Vue.js specifically is a plus; Establish OAUTH validation mechanisms within the specified services; Implement validation mechanisms to verify the internet data collectors on a timely basis. Write unit and integration test; Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system and assistance of the DevOps team on setting up CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps platform.
University degree and more than 6 years of experience in Software Development; More than 5 years of experience in Software Development; More than 4 years of experience in Back-End Development with .net and Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core; More than 3 years of experience in front-end Development with Vue.js and Typescript; More than 3 years of experience with highly scalable systems and microservices; More than 3 years of experience working in a team following Agile/SCRUM methodology procedures and disciplines; More than 3 years of experience in developing applications that publish and consume messages via AMQP, including handling message routing, queuing, and error handling; More than 3 years of experience on estimating the work to be done upon request; More than 1 year of experience on debugging Angular codebase; Excellent knowledge of the design and development of back-end components (REST APIs, integration patterns, micro-services); Excellent knowledge of Microsoft .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core (extensive use of design patterns); Excellent knowledge of relational databases, focusing on Microsoft SQL Server (schema design, procedural scripting etc.); Excellent knowledge of using containers and orchestrators (Kubernetes); Excellent knowledge of version control with Git and Git practices; Excellent knowledge of AMQP messaging; Good knowledge of SDLC best practices; Good knowledge of the design, documentation and development of full stack solutions; Good knowledge of the design and development of web components; Good knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. AGILE); Good knowledge in designing and developing scalable back-end components (REST APIs, integrations, micro-services); Good knowledge of relational databases and OOP paradigms and SOLID principles; Knowledge of implementing OAUTH 2.0 authorization mechanisms with ADFS; Knowledge of Elasticsearch; Knowledge of CI / CD systems (e.g. Azure DevOps); Knowledge of using Linux shell and basic Linux concepts (e.g., users, groups, rights); Experience with at least one of these: Selenium, Playwright, Other web-crawling technologies would be considered an asset; Experience with highly scalable systems based on micro-services deployed on Kubernetes, would be considered an asset; Excellent command of the English language.
