We are currently looking for an Engineering Officer (Mechanical) who will provide guidance, coordination and supervision of strategic activities for mechanical maintenance of the our Plants in Thisvi and Thessaloniki. What will you do: Provide support to plant performances (efficiency, capacity, reliability, flexibility, etc.) and proposing actions aimed at the continuous improvement of plant efficiency and reliability. Follow the development and implementation of strategic projects targeting to plant performance and reliability improvement. Ensure the definition of specific plans for machinery periodic control and supervises the implementation. Provide support to the Plants during the outages and the major overhauls and undertakes specific tasks to his responsibility. Provide support to the Plants for the development of technical specifications for improvements, modifications, new investments or applications with higher technical complexity. Ensure the development of specific maintenance and inspection methodologies and supervise the implementation. Act as work supervisor and prime source of maintenance and engineering expertise as well, particularly in relation to the application of the safety rules. Ensure that all his actions are always in adherence to company HSE standards and ISO requirements and that he is always up to date with all company HSE & ISO requirements. Follow the development and implementation of strategic projects targeting to plant performance and reliability improvement. Perform resource planning in order to carry out efficiently the projects/maintenance he has been assigned. Provide support to the Plants for investigating and identifying solutions to specific maintenance (predictive, preventive or corrective) technical issues. Monitor the good and reliable operation of the equipment of the power plant. Control and ensure the renewal of the licences of the power plants. Create specific KPI’s that will be assigned to you. With the development and the assessment of these factors, you will propose actions/projects to improve the performance of the power plants. Provide support for the definition of the annual maintenance plan and the annual maintenance budget and cost optimization for the generating unit. What you need to be successful: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a Technical University. To be a Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE – TCG) At least 3 years of experience in power generating units’ maintenance or 5 years’ experience in maintenance of heavy industry. Mentality in applying Quality and HSE protocols. Commitment to respect deadlines. Good Communication and interpersonal skills. Very good command of the English language. Good Organizational and Project Management skills. Experience in SAP will be considered an asset.
