Kentro is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Recruiter to support a portfolio of Department of Defense (DoD) and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) programs. This role will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for highly cleared and specialized positions supporting mission-critical operations across CONUS and OCONUS locations. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience recruiting within the federal contracting environment, understands the complexities of security clearance requirements, and has a proven ability to identify and attract top talent for technical, operational, and program management positions. The Recruiter will partner closely with program leadership, hiring managers, business development teams, and security personnel to develop strategic recruiting solutions that enable mission success and workforce readiness Location: Hybrid-Tampa, FL- Onsite as needed. Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruitment activities for cleared and uncleared positions supporting SOCOM, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), other DoD programs, and uncleared contracts as needed. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and recruit candidates with Secret, TS, and TS/SCI clearances. Build and maintain talent pipelines for technical, operational, intelligence, cybersecurity, engineering, logistics, zero trust, and program management positions. Partner with hiring managers and TA Manager to understand workforce requirements, staffing priorities, and mission objectives. Manage recruiting efforts supporting geographically dispersed positions. Coordinate candidate screening, interviews, offer negotiations, onboarding activities, and transition support. Track and manage recruiting metrics, hiring forecasts, pipeline health, and staffing progress reports. Collaborate with security, contracts, and program teams to ensure compliance with clearance verification, customer requirements, and contract staffing obligations. Support proposal, capture, and business development efforts by identifying contingent hires, key personnel candidates, and recruiting strategies for new opportunities. Represent the company at career fairs, military transition events, networking functions, and industry conferences. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and company policies. Develop and sustain relationships with military communities, veterans, cleared professionals, and professional organizations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of 5 years of experience recruiting and sourcing talent for SOCOM, DoD, Intelligence Community, or federal contracting programs of similar scope, scale, and complexity. Demonstrated success recruiting candidates with Secret, TS, and TS/SCI clearances. Strong understanding of personnel security processes, clearance requirements, and cleared hiring practices. Experience supporting complex programs with multiple stakeholders, locations, and mission requirements. Knowledge of DoD organizational structures, contracting environments, and workforce planning methodologies. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills. Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruiting analytics tools. Preferred Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance or higher; TS/SCI strongly preferred. Recruiting certification such as AIRS, CIR, CDR, SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential, or equivalent. Experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF), SOCOM, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), or Intelligence Community customers. Experience supporting cloud modernization, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, enterprise IT, data analytics, zero trust, or digital transformation programs. Understanding of federal acquisition processes, GSA contract vehicles, BPA administration, and proposal development activities. Experience supporting capture and proposal recruiting efforts, including identification of key personnel and contingent hires.
