Currently, around 4,000 employees are working at CARIAD on the digital transformation of the car. CARIAD is working intensively on the software and technology platform for Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The first vehicles based on PPE will be the electric Porsche Macan and Audi Q6 e-tron. At the core of CARIAD is the development of the unified and scalable software and technology platform E³ 2.0 for all Group brands. E³ stands for ‘end to end electronics architecture’. The new software and technology platform is built from scratch and will be used first at the end of 2024 in Artemis, the lighthouse project of Audi. CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of ‘VW.OS”. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in frontend and backend development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in React.js, Python, and Microsoft Azure cloud platform, along with strong knowledge of modern web technologies and data workflow orchestration. Key Responsibilities

• Strong experience in React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript for frontend development
• Hands-on experience in Python for backend/API development
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and querying
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and data pipelines
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with Git, version control, and Agile development practices
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills Skills / Qualities:
• Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using React.js and Python
• Build responsive and high-performance frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• Design and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies Good to have:
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to data engineering workflows • Experience in cloud-native architecture
