Senior Technical Consultant - SAP CML/CMS (m/f/d) – German speaking

SAP CML/CMS and ABAKUS are core modules within the SAP Fioneer landscape, widely used in banking, insurance, and industrial environments. In this role, you work at the intersection of technical consulting and development. Together with our clients and internal teams, you implement and enhance solutions across the full project lifecycle, with a strong focus on ABAP-based development, migrations, and system enhancements.

Consulting: As a Senior Consultant, you act as a key interface between client departments and x1F consulting teams, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Designing: You design and implement SAP applications within the CML, CMS, and ABAKUS environment and ensure they are aligned with client and system requirements. Developing: Your work includes ABAP and ABAP Objects development as well as the implementation of modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views and OData, with initial exposure to SAP BTP being an advantage. Supporting: You analyze and resolve complex issues in existing SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA and SAP UI5/Fiori environments. Driving: From migrations to enhancements, you contribute to the full lifecycle of SAP applications for national and international clients. Collaborating: Working closely with stakeholders and project teams, you ensure clear communication and effective delivery across all project phases.

Education: Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification. SAP Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP CML, CMS, and/or ABAKUS, combined with solid experience in ABAP or ABAP Objects development. Technology Knowledge : Initial experience with modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData, and ideally SAP BTP. Industry Interest: Strong interest in financial products such as securities, derivatives, and related banking processes, ideally complemented by experience in the banking sector. Communication: Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Languages: Fluent German and English at C1 level, written and spoken. Mobility: Willingness to travel within the DACH region when required for client projects and workshops.
