Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietitian to join our team In this role, you will: Conduct Nutritional Assessments: Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' nutritional status to identify needs and risks. Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create individualized nutrition care plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes. Provide Education and Counseling: Offer one-on-one and group education sessions to patients and families, focusing on nutrition-related topics and behavior change strategies. Monitor and Evaluate Progress: Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure effective nutrition management. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition care into overall patient treatment plans. Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field. Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration; Licensed Dietitian in the appropriate state. Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian preferred. Skills: Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. What We're Looking For Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in dietetics, nutrition, foods and nutrition, required. Graduate Degree, preferred. Experience : Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian, preferred. Licensure/Certification : Registered Dietitian status by the commission on Dietetic Registration, required. Licensed Dietitian in appropriate state, required. Additional skills required : Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge, ability and skills to support patient education and patient engagement in self-care management to accommodate cultural diversity, age specific or behavior needs among the patients being served. Additional skills preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to relay information to diverse audiences for one-on-one consultations, small and large group presentations; dynamic presence for media interviews, health fairs and other invited presentations/appearances.
