Responsibilities / Tasks

GEA Farm Technologies is a unique business serving some of the hardest working, innovative Dairymen and women in the world.  This role assists Product Management as part of a cross-functional team whose main objective is driving innovation and delivering customer focused market solutions.  As part of this team, an APM’s supporting tasks of lifecycle management, product strategy, and development activities while emphasizing a customer centric culture.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Data and market analysis

  • Issue resolution and follow-up; provide relevant recommendations and solutions.

  • Pricing strategies

  • Generation of internal marketing & product notifications

  • Supporting test and validation activities for optimal product functionality

  • Liaison to sales for updates and sales tool support

  • Drive and complete tasks for product releases, changes, and phase outs

  • Work with engineering and customers to identify product improvements

Key Accountabilities:

Impact on Business: Predominantly delivers - follows defined standards

  • More efficiently define and validate customer needs
  • Increase output of product release activities, to decrease time to market
  • Increase communication between internal stakeholders for optimal market support

Innovation and Change: Predominantly proposes minor changes in existing processes or products.

  • Accelerate product improvements to more quickly respond to customer needs
  • Increase daily requirement output resulting in more time to proactively deliver innovation
  • Be an ambassador for best practices and process improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Main Communication Partners: Predominantly communicates with others within the organization.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • High school diploma OR B.A Degree in Agriculture or Business preferred - willing to train a recent college graduate 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, mainly excel and word

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines; self-starter

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Basic knowledge of SAP

  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.

  • Passion for learning, curiosity, and empathy

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Two years in the Dairy Industry, product management or related courses 

  • Bilingual in Spanish Language 

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 - $90,000 per year.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.  You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
