Family Services Specialist IV

The Sussex County Department of Social Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to serve as a Family Services Specialist IV. This leadership level position serves as a lead worker and subject matter expert within the Family Services division, providing guidance, training, and support to Family Services staff while managing complex cases involving children, families, adults, and vulnerable populations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring quality service delivery, staff support, case oversight, crisis intervention, and compliance with state and local policies and procedures. The selected candidate will work with a high degree of independence while supporting supervisory functions and promoting positive outcomes for individuals and families served by the agency.
