Power Apps Tester

Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and innovative Power Apps Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of our Microsoft Power Apps, Liferay, and Pentaho Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automated software testing with Selenium scripts combined with hands-on experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to support the development and rigorous testing of Power Apps, Liferay, and Pentaho Business Intelligence solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Liferay, PowerApps, and Business Intelligence applications.
• Proficiency in developing, maintaining, and executing automated Selenium regression scripts in Java is essential.
• Write, maintain, and execute automated Java-based Selenium regression testing scripts to validate application functionality across releases.
• Support both manual and Selenium-based regression testing activities.
• Validate application functionality across development, stage, and production environments.
• Document testing results, defects, screenshots, and findings within Jira tickets.
• Coordinate with developers to troubleshoot issues identified during testing.
• Support sprint testing activities and verify resolutions prior to deployment.
• Assist with production deployment validation and post-release verification activities.
• Track defects and return failed stories to development teams for remediation when necessary.
• Work within Agile/Scrum environments and participate in team coordination activities.
• Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and status updates for project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain PowerApps applications (Nice to have).
