OPS Advising Center Assistant

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of OPS Advising Center Assistant with Academic Advising. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.

What You’ll Do
The part-time OPS Advising Assistant assists Dean of Career & Academic Advising with academic recovery and data processing.

The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with tracking and supporting students in academic recovery

• Entering, updating, and maintaining student data in Workday and advising systems

• Running and organizing reports on student progress and advising outcomes

• Scheduling appointments and providing administrative support to the Dean and advising team

• Communicating with students regarding advising, registration, and academic status

• Other duties as assigned

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

HOURS:   25 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
