General Laborer

General Laborer – Manufacturing Production Location: Sterling Heights, MI Position Type: Full-Time Industry: Manufacturing / Automotive Production Position Overview: We are currently hiring dependable and motivated General Laborers for a high-volume manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and are looking for long-term manufacturing opportunities. General Laborers will support daily production operations by assisting assembly teams, moving materials throughout the facility, packaging products, and helping maintain a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform general production and manufacturing support duties throughout the facility Assist machine operators, assemblers, and production personnel as needed Move materials, containers, parts, and finished products throughout the plant Load and unload production materials and components Package and prepare finished products for shipment Inspect products and materials for quality concerns or defects Support assembly, sorting, labeling, stacking, and palletizing operations Assist with material replenishment and production line support Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety and 5S standards Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and work instructions Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals Perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment Support warehouse and manufacturing operations as needed

Qualifications: Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or general labor experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment Strong attendance and reliable work history required Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing physical work throughout the shift Team-oriented with a strong focus on workplace safety Automotive manufacturing or Tier 1 supplier experience is a plus Industrial or production environment experience preferred Preferred Experience: Manufacturing or production support Assembly line work Warehouse or shipping/receiving operations Packaging and palletizing Assisting machine operators Automotive or industrial manufacturing environments Available Shifts: 1st Shift 2nd Shift 3rd Shift Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production schedules and customer demand. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements Ability to work in industrial manufacturing conditions and varying temperatures
