Job description
Accept direction from, and interact professionally with supervisor and co-workers Work with integrity and follow assigned tasks through to completion Maintain a strict standard of data privacy in handling confidential employee and company information Utilize time management skills to manage multiple task balancing Support the human resources department by assisting with administrative duties to learn about the work being performed, and to contribute to completion of department workload Learn and assist with various projects, such as HRIS system maintenance, data entry projects, onboarding and offboarding tasks, etc. Other duties as assigned
Education/Training (both required and desired): High School diploma or equivalent required Current enrollment or recent completion of a post-high school education program in a Human Resources field Experience: 0+ years of professional experience in the required task area Must have a basic understanding of work to be performed Interns will work 15 – 25 hours per week; summer interns will typically work 40 hours Security: Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and use of computer screens Frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements using a keyboard, mouse, and handwriting Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
