Load Coverage Specialist

Load Coverage / Booking Specialist i s expected to source, negotiate, and secure carriers on available freight in a timely and profitable manner. They will also ensure that all customer shipments are covered within the company’s quality standards. We simplify logistics through collaboration, transparency, and cutting-edge technology while delivering what matters most for freight forwarders. Key Responsibilities: • Keep daily account operations running smoothly through strong organization and follow-through • Communicate regularly with customers and carriers via phone and email • Build and manage shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries • Dispatch drivers and ensure trucks arrive on time • Track shipments and conduct check calls to monitor progress • Identify and qualify carriers that best fit customer needs • Communicate shipment details and negotiate rates when needed • Proactively reschedule appointments and notify all parties of changes • Confirm pickups occurred as scheduled and resolve exceptions quickly • Coordinate with drivers and shipping teams to ensure proper loading • Provide routing details and clear instructions to drivers • Escalate issues early and communicate solutions clearly • Assist with collecting required shipment documentation What Success Looks Like • You stay organized even when things move quickly • You communicate clearly and professionally with customers and carriers • You anticipate problems before they become emergencies • You take ownership and follow through until issues are resolved • You provide excellent service without needing constant direction
