Estates Operative - Part-time

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Estates Operative to join our team on a part-time permanent basis to help create and maintain our stunning landscape. As an Estates Operative at Gittisham, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating beautiful outdoor spaces that they can enjoy and relax in. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the planting and maintenance of flowers, plants, and trees. Performing regular watering, pruning, and weeding to keep the gardens tidy and vibrant. Maintaining lawns, hedges, and other green areas. Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools. Assisting in the implementation of landscaping projects. Collaborating with the team to ensure the gardens meet the expectations and preferences of our residents. Following health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Helping the GM/FM with other tasks in and around the Village outside the garden environment when necessary. Requirements Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred, but not required. Passion for working with plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Basic knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions. Physical stamina to perform gardening tasks, including lifting and operating equipment. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to garden maintenance.
