Control Room Technician

Assist the shift supervisor in the efficient management of the shift to ensure safe and optimum operation of mills and accessories.

1. Coordinate and monitor the activities of Feed Table / Bunker /Tunnel Attendants and Wheel Loader Operators to ensure optimum filling of bunkers

2.Monitor milling parameters and adjust them in consultation with the mill supervisor to ensure optimum operation

3. Properly filled in mill log sheets and file them appropriately

• Liaise with the quality control personnel, interpret MPIs and adjust milling parameters accordingly, in consultation with the mill supervisor, to assure cement quality.

5.Scan the operating parameters and monitor performance of mill at all times. Document deviations and report malfunctions for correction.

6.Vet end of shift MPIs and prepare reports. Brief incoming attendant on mill performance and effectively hand over to assure continuity.

7.Assist the mill supervisor in maintaining discipline and good team spirit, and promoting effective communication among team and other staff

8.Other responsibilities as stated in GHACEM OCP & SoPs

10.Any function delegated by Mill Supervisor, PM or his representative.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

-Minimum of HND in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Materials Engineering

-Working  knowledge in ISO 14001, 18001 and 9001 will be an advantage

-High sense of integrity with ability to work under minimum supervision

Age Limit: Not over 30years

Experience: Minimum of 2 years post qualification
