Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our equipment processing center in Pooler, GA. Join Our Team today! Starting pay is $22.00 depending on experience Job Description WHAT YOU'LL DO: Work on various mechanical and technical systems Complete work orders Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics for the purpose of assembly Use various test equipment, hand tools, and measuring equipment Operate heavy construction equipment and forklifts Assembling, repairing and testing heavy equipment Job Requirements WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Working knowledge of various mechanical and technical systems Practical knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines and associated systems Ability to read and understand schematics and prints Capacity to lift 50 pounds and climb to/work at heights of up to 15 feet Complete a full workday walking and/or standing Tolerance working outside in all reasonable weather conditions with exposure to dirt, dust, and fumes from the operation of construction equipment, cranes, forklifts, etc. Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record WHEN YOU JOIN US At Wallenius Wilhelmsen, we prioritize your well-being.
