POSITION SUMMARY - Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) : The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides direct, age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric patients ranging from newborn to (24 hours of age) through adolescence (less than 18 years old) under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and other medical staff. Practicing within the Arizona LNA scope of practice, the LNA performs delegated nursing assistant tasks and standardized procedures to support the plan of care, including assisting with activities of daily living, collecting and reporting vital signs, supporting treatments and procedures, participating in patient education, and maintaining accurate documentation.
