Job description
This role is a key marketing leadership position focused solely on ACAP, with a specific remit to lead partnership marketing activity and international market support. The role works closely with both the college and the Divisional Shared Services Marketing Team to support brand growth, industry collaboration, and international student acquisition.
This role requires high-level collaboration, the ability to navigate multiple stakeholder groups, and a strong grasp of both domestic and international marketing environments. Success in this position will be measured by the strength and impact of our partnerships, international campaign performance, quality of assets delivered, and contribution to enrolment outcomes.
Key Result Areas:
International Marketing Support:
- Partner with the ACAP International Sales team to understand regional strategies, goals, and recruitment cycles.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise a suite of international marketing materials and agent toolkits.
- Support agent training and communications with engaging, brand-aligned content.
- Ensure international campaigns are aligned with broader brand and acquisition objectives.
Brand and Campaign Execution:
- Apply deep knowledge of the ACAP brand to develop and deliver campaigns in partnership and international contexts.
- Coordinate with marketing shared services to plan and implement tactical activity.
- Ensure campaign and collateral delivery are timely, targeted, and aligned with quality standards.
- Track and optimise the performance of partnership and international marketing campaigns.
- Implement and lead activity in alignment with brand guidelines for the College to maintain a strong brand identity.
- Monitor campaign performance and collaborate with the marketing and brand delivery teams to optimise results.
- Identify and develop working process with key business unit stakeholders that assists the development of campaignable ideas (news stories, content ideas, promotional ideas)
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including business unit leaders, marketing teams, and brand delivery teams.
- Manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across academic, sales, and external partner teams.
- Provide regular reporting and communication to business unit leaders on activity progress, results, and opportunities.
- Be a brand advocate and advisor for partnership and international teams.
Planning and Reporting:
- Incorporate business unit-specific input and objectives into the overall marketing strategies and plans.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing business unit-specific insights and recommendations for optimisation.
- Contribute to market research and competitor analysis efforts, providing business unit perspectives and identifying unique opportunities and risks.
Skills and Capabilities:
- Proven ability to develop strategic and tactical marketing plans in B2B, B2C, or international contexts.
- Strong project management skills from planning through to execution, including campaign development and stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to diverse and global audiences.
- Strong relationship-building and partnership marketing skills, with experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, brand consistency, and a commitment to quality.
- Adaptable, resourceful, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
- Proactive, collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement and results.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, new innovations, including AI tools, and best practices in the education sector, sharing relevant insights with the marketing and brand delivery teams.
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior marketing role involving partnerships, account management, or international marketing.
• Strong expertise in brand management, campaign development, and digital marketing strategy, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
• Proficiency in using marketing technology platforms, including CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and campaign performance analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to translate market insights and data into actionable marketing plans, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create marketing assets and content tailored to international and B2B audiences.
• Advanced stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with demonstrated success in influencing and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior leaders, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
• High level of initiative, resilience, and adaptability in managing multiple priorities within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a matrixed or multi-site organisation, with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and continuous improvement.
