Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Fernandina Beach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support while ensuring smooth daily office operations.

  • Manage front desk operations including greeting visitors and answering phone calls
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email communications
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical
  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and calendar management
  • Process basic financial transactions and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
  • Operate standard office equipment including printers, copiers, and scanners
  • Support team members with administrative tasks and special projects
  • Prepare and format various business documents and reports
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Experience with data entry and record keeping
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
