iOS Engineer - Bet Native

Do you love iOS development? Do you to build large scale apps? Join us in the Bet Engineering team, where you'll be part of an agile, native app squad responsible for the delivery and upkeep of our flagship Sky Bet product. Our ambitions are to deliver an incredible native betting & gaming experience across all our SB&G products!

As an iOS Engineer in the native team you'll play an instrumental role in taking us there, and in return we’ll give you a phenomenal opportunity to work with the newest tech, on one of the most popular mobile applications in the UK market! We keep our squad lean in the “two pizzas” sense, with your role providing the operational expertise knowledge across the full stack for the squad.

Day to day we want you to take ownership of the following;

•

Development and maintenance of our Sky Bet iOS app.

•

Advocate improvements to the current development process.

•

Collaborate with your squad and others to tackle engineering problems and incidents.

•

Involved in the full delivery process from elaboration to the delivery in the App Store.

•

Work in a highly collaborative agile way, with other developers and test engineers, alongside a Tech Lead and a Product Owner.

•

Working with Product Owners and the Tech Lead to find opportunities to utilise the newest technology trends to improve the customer experience.

•

Write well structured, testable and maintainable code.

We're looking for passionate iOS Engineers who can demonstrate the following skills;

•

Skilled in Swift. Skilled in Objective-C is a desirable

•

Experience using the Xcode IDE

•

Familiar with the latest iOS SDK

•

Understanding of HTTP protocols, requests and responses

•

A keen interest in the latest mobile development trends
