Senior BI Analyst - Customer Tribe

We are recruiting for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Customer BI team. Together with Risk BI we are Customer Tribe BI and work alongside the Customer Tribe to deliver insight and support Customer Experience, Customer Engagement, Core Product, Risk, Safer Gambling, Compliance and AML teams.

The Customer Tribe is passionate about delivering and inspiring better moments for our customers. You will need to have a ‘customer first’ mindset and bring the customer experience and journey to life through your data driven insights and initiatives. One of the ways we measure and unite the business around the customer is through the key pillars Ease, Safe, Valued and Entertain.

A key part of this role will be building relationships with Heads and Managers to understand their challenges and find new opportunities to add value through insight. At times you will need to work across SBG – both with other Tribes and BI teams – to build a complete picture around the customer.

As part of the wider BI team, this year will bring exciting changes as we move to Google Cloud Platform with new reporting and visualisation tools. Working with your colleagues across BI you will be involved in shaping how this future looks and delivering new self-serve, interactive reporting.

Provide performance insight and feedback to the business around our customer journeys and experiences, both through ad-hoc and regular reporting.

Uncover opportunities to deliver new and novel analysis – recent examples include social media analysis that delivered an immediate cost avoidance to SBG.

Become a trusted and go-to person with your stakeholders for insight and advice.

•

Proactively challenge, support and, when needed, drive change for our stakeholders, with a desire to always do what is best for SBG.

Love analysis, playing with data and looking for great ways to use it – both in simple and complex models.

•

Key skills: SQL, Excel, analysis & insight with awesome communication and presentation.

•

Extra points for: Python, Looker, Big Query, R, statistical modelling, project management.
