IT Business Intelligence Analyst

IT Business Intelligence Analyst The primary responsibility is to turn raw data into information and insights, which can be used to make business decisions. Engage with project stakeholders, understand the business use case, use necessary tools to extract, transform and profile data, perform data classification and analysis, build trends & insights, perform quality assurance on the data and publish the results to business using a BI tool.

What you’ll do

• Engage with businesses to gather requirements for the use cases for data quality in the data lake
• Data extraction, cleansing, and profiling
• Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
• Using Statistical tools to identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
• Build dashboards or reports using BI tools to deliver outputs to the business user

What experience you need

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in writing queries (SQL, PL/SQL)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Google Cloud (GCP) tools - BigQuery
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using a Data Visualization software: Tableau or Spotfire
• 1- year knowledge of programming languages like R, Python, C#
• 1- year knowledge of statistics and statistical packages like SAS, Excel

• Derive insights from data extracted based on the use case provided by Business

• Track data quality improvements
