Description

Throughout the course of a 12 week internship at Fluke, you will work and complete a meaningful project that will challenge you to grow and give you a great feel of what it’s like to work full time at Fluke!

And when we say meaningful project, we mean it! Several past interns' work has gone on to be used, in part or in full, in Fluke’s products.

Please note that you are currently applying for a “pool” position. This requisition is used as a funnel for all software engineering intern positions we intend to hire for. As such, this position is relatively vague and inclusive of all types of software engineering intern duties one may have. If you are only interested, or most interested, in one aspect of software engineering (e.g. you love developing mobile applications), please indicate so in your resume.

Typical Duties are not limited to, but may include some of the following:

  • Research, design, implement, test and maintain hardware, software and/or firmware solutions for Fluke.
  • Develop, maintain, and/or improve web applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and/or improve mobile applications.
  • Help maintain engineering quality, organization, and automation.
  • Follow department standards for software development, including project planning, documentation, design reviews, software testing, project status reporting, and s oftware configuration management.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with computer software emphasis.
  • Experience, in or out of school, with programming and engineering concepts.
  • Ability to contribute as a highly effective team member.
  • High motivation, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
