Are you a hands-on chemist with a passion for solving real-world challenges? Join our R&D team as an R&D Chemist , where you’ll take ownership of maintaining and optimizing our packaging coatings portfolio. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products continue to meet customer expectations and market demands.

About the role

  • Ensure Safety First: Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant lab environment.
  • Support Existing Products: Adjust and fine-tune formulations to meet specific customer requirements or adapt to raw material changes.
  • Manage Lab Work: Plan, execute, and document lab activities related to product support and improvement.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Service, and Manufacturing to address customer feedback and support product performance in the field.
  • Analyze & Recommend: Interpret test results, troubleshoot issues, and propose formulation improvements.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up with raw material developments, regulatory changes, and customer trends to ensure product compliance and competitiveness.

Work Experience

About You

  • A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
  • 3+ years of experience in coatings or a similar industry , with strong formulation and testing skills.
  • A detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experimental design software or statistical analysis.
  • Experience working with commercial or customer-facing teams is highly valued.
  • Availability to travel internationally during the training period is required.
  • Personal vehicle to access the Site (in an industrial area).
