About the role
In this role you will be responsible for overall product strategy, evolution and growth of an PHENOM solution that meets the one of the most critical needs related to a veterinary clinic’s business health.
Payments is one of the Veterinary Software & Services highest margin and most pervasive solutions. As the PHENOM Payments Product Manager you’ll be responsible for the:
- Commercial vision to drive solution expansion, penetration and adoption among our customers through innovative channel, go-to-market, pricing, segmentation, competitive and marketing strategies.
- Integration and growth of payments across VSS practice management software, applications and services by driving collaborative alignment and prioritization across multiple development teams.
- Business Vendor management and partnership strategy to maximize profitability and ensure the highest quality of customer experience.
- Operational strategy to align the efforts of several PHENOM teams to optimize and streamline solution delivery.

What can you expect?
In this role, you’ll work with a globally based Sr. Product Management team to develop strategy and set business goals. You will also help develop solution roadmap, positioning, market segmentation and sales messaging which includes overseeing the creation and management of marketing materials and developing communication strategies.
You will work with our Sales organization to optimize their ability to effectively position and sell the solution to our customers through sales training, enablement, tools and strategy.
What do you need to succeed?
You must be driven self-starter who can accurately understand a situation, it’s challenges and problem solve independently.
Key skills and abilities relating strong financial acumen, reasoning and analytics, project management, deep technical understanding, influencing without authority, strong communication and presentation skills, the drive and the ability to take ownership of all aspects associated with managing a product area.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree (Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred), advanced degree in technology or business preferred
- 5-7 years of product marketing and/or product manager experience
- Technical literacy related to product and software integration, development and delivery.
