As the Sr Product Manager, Veterinary Software & Services you will define, lead, and deliver the product and marketing strategy for PHENOM’s software solutions. This is an opportunity to join the global leader in developing and commercializing highly innovative, integrated software solutions that set the standard in veterinary health care. In this role you will be the business owner for an PHENOM cloud software offering. You will join a vibrant and committed group of entrepreneurial leaders driving advancements in veterinary health information technology that in turn advances pet care and wellness.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as “single owner” responsible for product direction and customer experience
- Collaborate with customers to identify needs.
- Drive the translation of customer needs to clear product requirements.
- Partner with prospective technology solution providers to deliver a world class offering.
- Craft product marketing strategies, including go-to-market plans, messaging, positioning, partnerships, and shape the pricing and packaging definition.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience organizations to ensure successful commercialization and customer satisfaction.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES FOR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or relevant technical discipline, MBA/advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership and commercial product management and/or product marketing experience.
- Preferred experience: Customer facing software-as-a-service product management; enterprise software product and/or marketing experience.
- Proven commercial product management and leadership abilities.
- Strong execution and impact focus – including demonstrated drive, initiative, break through thinking, and business results.
- Track record of product ownership including defining and managing the customer experience.
- High energy and proactive problem-solving acumen.
- Customer focus with demonstrated track record of leveraging a variety of tools to understand underlying customer needs and drive translation to product requirements.
- Highly effective communication skills (presentations, correspondence, and 1-on-1 at all levels and across global organization).
- Integrity, authenticity, respect, sense of humor, and confidentiality.
