Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including managing a team of accountants and ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies
• Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations, and make recommendations for process improvements as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in managing a team and driving results
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
