Southfields Veterinary Specialists are currently recruiting for a Client Care Assistant, who will support the existing Client Care and Administration teams in providing exceptional care and customer service to our clients and patients. Full time, part time, permanent and fixed term considered.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Greeting clients and their pets upon arrival in a warm and friendly manner
• Communication directly with our vets, physiotherapists and nurses regarding their appointments, clients and patients
• Explanation to our clients of the status of their accounts, taking payments and issuing invoices
• Arrangement of routine and emergency appointments from our referring vets in primary care practice
• Fielding of phone and electronic enquiries from clients, referring vets and colleagues
• Close collaboration with our Client Management Team regarding client accounts
• Maintenance of patient clinical records using our practice management software system .

Specific experiences / qualifications / status / citizenship requirements

You must fulfil the following requirements

• Have experience in a general reception role veterinary experience is not essential, but desired
• Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
• Maintain a professional and caring approach in all aspects of your work
• Provide evidence of your Right to Work in the UK.

Hours

40 hours per week including 1 in 10 weekends for full time position.
